At this time, we are unsure of exactly when DinoLand U.S.A. will be closing. What we do know is that the Walt Disney Imagineers are currently planning on bringing what will possibly be a Tropical Americas-themed land to this area at some point in the future.
Don't bug out, but at Destination D23, a Disney expo, it was announced that It's Tough to be a Bug!, located in the Tree of Life, will shut down and be replaced a a Zootopia themed show.
Say goodbye to Dinoland U.S.A. at Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. Like the prehistoric creatures that give the attraction its name, Dinoland is going extinct, as Disney World looks to reimagine an entirely new theme.
The sculptures at Dinosaur Park were listed on the National Register of Historic places in 1990. Maintenance and renovations have been done to parking, some pedestrian access, and the dinosaurs over the years. This multi-phase project is scheduled for completion December of 2023.

On August 13th, 2017, the attraction closed to make way for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, a revolutionary coaster that marks the first true Marvel attraction at Walt Disney World.

What Disney World attractions will be closed in 2024?
Country Bear Jamboree closed on January 27, 2024, and will reopen in the summer as the reimagined Country Bear Musical Jamboree. On January 22, 2023, Splash Mountain permanently closed as the ride began its reimagining into Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

The Disney Carnotaurus is also bigger and buffer then the actual dinosaur, as the actual carnotaurus was a sprinting predator.
History. On September 12, 2014, Walt Disney World officials announced that the Maelstrom attraction would be replaced by an attraction based on Frozen. Maelstrom's final day of operation was October 5, 2014.
