[Avengers: Infinity War] Why didn't Thanos just snap and use the Mind Stone later to subjugate the Universe into accepting what happened? Because he honestly believed that people would be thrilled to have fewer neighbors, and that he wouldn't need to make them accept a new status quo.
Why wasn t Thanos punished for using Infinity Stones but Red Skull was?
Thanos used the Infinity Stones in different ways in Avengers: Infinity War, and he didn't wait to have them all to start using them, but unlike Red Skull, he didn't manipulate the Stones with his bare hands: he had the Infinity Gauntlet to mount them in and channel their power in a safer way.
Thanos would've done lot of things with those stones forget about healing. But that's not his point. He was using stones to set the universe in order to get it out of it's misery. He's not using it for his personal gain and he know's exactly what kind of price he has to pay in order to use them.
He literally states that afterwards he would “watch the sun rise on a grateful universe.” He saw no reason to erase their memories, because he thought they would praise him for doing this. Thanos saw himself as a holy warrior on a quest to save the universe.
Why did some people not disappear when Thanos snapped?
Since Thanos' snap is supposedly random, Marvel Studios is able to easily get away with the explanation that the six Avengers were simply lucky to be spared. Of course, fans know that there's a narrative motivation in keeping them all alive past Avengers: Infinity War and into Endgame.

Why can t gamora remember quill?
Because she does not have a history with the Guardians, she does not reunite with them at the end of Endgame. Instead, she starts her own journey while Peter Quill is left mourning his dead girlfriend despite the existence of another version of Gamora in his universe.
Using his newly forged axe, Stormbreaker, he delivered a seemingly lethal blow into Thanos' chest. However, the wounded Titan whispered to the God of Thunder, "You should have gone for the head." He snapped his fingers as he muttered those words, completing his mission of bringing balance to the universe.
Had Thanos known of Eternity, he would've likely done his best to try to reach it. However, if that were true, it would then mean he'd have given up his search, meaning that for as powerful as the Infinity Stones were, they were nothing compared to Eternity.
The stones were causing a massive surge of power to go through Hulk and he was unable to snap for a moment because the pain was basically paralyzing him.
In The Avengers, Loki tried to mind-control both Hawkeye and Iron Man, but while he succeeded with Hawkeye, his attempts failed on Iron Man due to his arc reactor. Iron Man's arc reactor protected him from Loki's scepter, as the scepter needed to touch organic matter to work, and the arc reactor was not skin.
Upon learning that Annihilus wanted to destroy all life in both the positive and negative matter universes, Thanos tried to release Galactus. Most unfortunately, Drax showed up and ripped out Thanos's heart, killing him.
Since Vision was caught off-guard, he didn't have time to phase through the blade, and his synthezoid body began to malfunction. After Corvus Glaive's attack, Vision couldn't use his powers and remained badly wounded for the rest of the movie, which gave Thanos and the Black Order more freedom to confront the Avengers.
It's understood that the Red Skull can't give up what he loves because he's trapped on a deserted planet, but the explanation for why he can never have the Soul Stone may go deeper than that. In Marvel Comics, the Red Skull is simply incapable of love.
He (Red Skull) identifies her (Gamora) as “Daughter of Thanos”, because the word, “daughter”, can have multiple meanings depending on culture, and he applied at least 2 of those meanings: Coming from his genes (biological daughter) Being raised by him (familial daughter)
Thanos would dominate the Red Skull in just about every scenario. While Johann Schmidt may have the advantage in a scenario where he has a Cosmic Cube or Kobik and Thanos has nothing to counter it, even then Thanos would likely find a way to win the day.
Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet actually surpassed Eternity's power when the Living Tribunal refused to intervene when the Titan assembled the Infinity Stones and put them to use.
Thanos did not know what the weapon was capable of, instead he thought blasting it would either stop it or disintegrate/break it. We can clearly see that Stormbreaker absorbs all the energy thrown at it and discharges it as it strikes Thanos.
Thanos didn't know what was coming his way and if he did he would have been able to use the stones to better react to Stormbreaker. Joe and Anthony explained at an Avengers: Infinity War screening that the only reason Thor was able to do some damage is because Thanos wasn't ready.
He traveled to Nidavellir and forged Stormbreaker, a weapon not only strong enough to kill Thanos but counter the Infinity Gauntlet and even summon the Bifrost. However, the weapon wasn't ready until Groot completed it by dismembering himself - and, in doing so, he became the first person to lift Stormbreaker.
Both weapons also appear to have a degree of sentience, with Stormbreaker apparently being envious of Thor's affection for Mjolnir, a characteristic director Taika Waititi attributed to the handle being made from the arm of the adolescent Groot, and carrying over some of that character's moodiness at that age.
Then Gamora tells him she doesn't think so, gets his name wrong (she calls him “Quinn” instead of “Quill”), and that's only the top note of Peter's song of embarrassment.
A quick, comedic scene in Vol. 3's Orgocorp heist teases some potential romance between Peter Quill and Nebula, but James Gunn claims that it was never going to become anything more (per The New York Times).
During their journey, Gamora made Quill promise to kill her should Thanos get ahold of her, saying she had information which he could use to destroy the entire universe.
