As for the film itself, the story moves at a fast pace; to a fault. The narrative breezes by every plot point, never giving enough time for anything to sink in. Many character motivations and relationships are short-changed because of this, leading to people making choices that don't make much sense.
Still, I liked that there were no unnecessary action scenes, and I felt that all of them were perfectly placed. The acting was excellent for the most part, and I felt connected to the characters. Overall, Morbius is enjoyable and entertaining enough to watch; it didn't bore me and it brought a lot of tension.
Spider-Man and the Human Torch confront Morbius, but the story acts more as a heroic coming-of-age for the Living Vampire. During his fight with the heroes, Bolt begins fighting Morbius but the former perishes when the latter shoves him, sending his head crashing against a rock.
When comparing powers in a fight, Morbius could certainly keep up with Spider-Man on several levels, but Peter's insane strength and spidey-sense give him the edge to overpower and anticipate Dr. Morbius's brutal attempts.
